This year students will explore the fascinating world of Physical Science, which is the study of matter and energy. Physical Science is a combination of two branches of science - Chemistry and Physics.  Chemistry is the study of the properties, composition, structure, and interactions of matter.  Physics is the study of the relationship between matter and energy. Student should expect to complete projects and participate in design challenges in which they demonstrate knowledge of the material. All material will be supplemented with lab exercises in which students must work together to solve problems. On summative assessments students, will need to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills to analyze various problems and situations.
